The John Poole Middle School PTA provides
financial support to many programs in the school, but, more importantly,
the PTA is involved with school leadership in school improvement planning.
The JPMS PTA meets with the PTA leaders and administration of the other
schools in our cluster and serves as your connection to information about
issues that affect the educational environment here at John Poole.
- The PTA meets on the second Tuesday evening of each month.
Occasionally, meetings are held on different nights to accommodate
special events. Check The Howl (links below) and/or The Back Pocket
for meeting dates. Everyone is invited to attend.
Each monthly get together features different topics that will help you
get better acquainted with middle school, and help you be a better parent
and partner in helping your child achieve success.
Please try and join us this year – I promise you that our meetings
will help you be an informed active parent and will not waste your time.
While we have business to conduct, we recognize that your time is precious,
so we do most of our business through email and in smaller groups and
use our large group meetings to bring you information and help you establish
a connection to our school. The focus of our monthly get togethers are
to provide you, the parent or guardian an opportunity get to know school
staff, to hear from and ask questions of the school staff, and learn
more about middle school issues so we can be effective partners in education.
- Please support the PTA by joining ($10 per person or $20 per couple)
and attending meetings.
It's never too late to Join the PTA! Your registration
entitles you to a copy of the Student Directory and helps the PTA achieve
our goals of funding schools activities and programs and assisting students
in need of financial support.

Checks should be made payable to the JPMS PTA and can be dropped off
at the school office.
